❤️ URGENT: A Child's Life Hangs in the Balance ❤️
A father's love — Kuldeep's father refuses to leave his side, day or night.
📍 PGI Noida — 47 days and counting.
"When you save a child, you don't just save one life — you save an entire lifetime of moments, dreams, and love yet to come."
A child is not just a small human. A child is hope in its purest form. Kuldeep is somebody's hope.
— Small Step Foundation
Little Kuldeep should be playing with toy cars, chasing butterflies in the courtyard, and laughing at cartoons on his father's phone. Instead, he lies quietly on a hospital bed at PGI Noida, a thin tube carrying medicines into his tiny arm, his eyes searching his mother's face every time she tries to hide her tears.
Six months ago, Kuldeep started running fevers that wouldn't go away. Bruises appeared on his legs without reason. His lips grew pale. His parents — a simple farming family from a village near Noida — first took him to the local doctor, then the district hospital, and finally, after weeks of fear and confusion, to PGI Noida. The diagnosis fell on the family like a stone: Aplastic Anemia — a rare and life-threatening condition in which the bone marrow stops producing enough blood cells. The only cure, the doctors said, was a bone marrow transplant.
The cost of the transplant: Rs.12 lakh. For a family that earns barely enough to feed themselves through the year, this number may as well be Rs.12 crore. But Kuldeep's father did what any father in his place would do — he sold the only piece of land the family owned, the land that had fed three generations. Every rupee went to blood transfusions, medicines, and weeks of hospital stays. The land is gone now. The money is gone. And Kuldeep is still lying in that same bed, weaker than before, waiting for a transplant that may never come if help does not arrive.
"We have nothing left to sell," his mother whispers, holding his small, pale hand in both of hers. "Only our hope. And our hope is in you."
The doctors at PGI Noida have warned the family clearly: without the transplant in the next few weeks, Kuldeep's body will not survive another serious infection. Every day the surgery is delayed, his chances shrink. Every hour is a battle his small body is slowly losing.
We are Small Step Foundation, and we have committed to raising the Rs.12 lakh Kuldeep's life depends on. But we cannot do it alone. We are turning to you — to every person whose heart still beats for a child in pain. Your contribution, no matter how small, brings Kuldeep one step closer to the surgery that will let him grow up, go to school, and one day hold his own child in his arms.
Please. Fold your hands the way his parents have folded theirs. Help us save Kuldeep's life.
Doctors have given Kuldeep only a few weeks. Without the transplant soon, his weakened body cannot fight even a simple infection.
Kuldeep's body no longer makes its own blood. Every week, he needs donor blood just to stay alive — but this is only a temporary bridge.
Kuldeep's father sold the family's only land to pay for earlier treatments. There is no savings, no property, no source left.
A donor match has been identified — which is incredibly rare. If we miss this window, finding another match could take years Kuldeep does not have.
100% of your donation goes directly to Kuldeep's treatment. Small Step Foundation absorbs all administrative costs.
